Amy Riedel is an artist living in Northern Virginia. Work includes; large scale murals, custom sign work, and furniture restoration. She received her BFA with a focus on Painting and printmaking with a minor in Art History from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009. Since then, she has worked as an artist in Portland, Oregon, the San Fransisco/Bay Area, and in the Virginia tri-state area.  For the past 4 years, she and her husband have been renovating their house in Lovettsville, VA, where they live with her step-daughter Kenzie and their 2 dogs, Hank and Loki. Twice a month Amy teaches classes at The Lucketts Store.  Classes range from sign painting, furniture restoration, oxidized metals, to antique mirror workshops. She is constantly experimenting with new art techniques and finding inspiration from the city to the country. She is truly passionate about creating something new everyday.
